AGT Foods USA is looking for a Design and Test Engineer to join its team at its location in Minot, ND.

Duties

• Convert program specification requirements into basic logic patterns using block diagrams, flow charts or other graphic means.
• Draw flowcharts/block diagrams in Visio to discuss workflow of project management worksheets prepared in Smartsheets.
• Design Visio diagram which briefs the project planning phase, development phase, execution phase, monitoring/control phase and explaining the prototypes, risk assessments, improvement plans, stakeholders’ approvals at various steps in project management.
• Discuss implementing intelligent techniques like HMIs (human-machine interface) used in facility to talk /communicate with web-forms developed in Alltrack so templates/forms can be auto-filled, and human-errors reduced.
• Confer with operations, user department personnel, superiors, or other technical employees to resolve difficult areas including program intent, input-output requirements, and internal checks and control.
• Perform Alpha, beta, and final testing in testing environments in web development using Alltrack and master-Alltrack to thoroughly check functionalities of requirements developed on web-forms.
• Conduct live demonstrations where trainings are given to operators/supervisors to understand proper usage of software (Alltrack, Power BI) and keep them updated with version changes and any updated form changes implemented.
• Confer with computer operators in testing and de-bugging programs. Interpret machine halts and correct error conditions of average scope and complexity. 
• Perform Alltrack web form based on AGTALT tickets to accommodate the changes and developments in development environment first and then master.
• Review/rewrite programs of average scope and complexity, including vendor supplied software packages, to increase operating efficiency or to update programs to new requirements.
• Develop software using Agile/Iterative programs.
• Build web applications using AngularJS, PHP7, SQL, Git, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in systems design with emphasis in programing.
• Prepare detailed documentation and operating instructions or programs of moderate to difficult scope and complexity.
• Implement appropriate use of PC and network operating systems technology for efficient management of information.
• Review and analyze program specifications of average scope and complexity for completeness, compatibility, and feasibility. 

Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Systems, or Network Administration and 1 year of experience as systems application administrator.

Must possess 1 year of experience with:

• Process improvement, data processing, and operating systems;
• AngularJS, PHP7, SQL, Git, Bootstrap; and
• Agile/Iterative Development experience
