AGT Foods is seeking a Safety/Food Safety Coordinator/Admin Assistant to join our production facility in Gibbons, AB.

This position is responsible for the Health & Safety and Food Safety Programs as well as Logistics/B.Ls/Inventory for shipping of product out of warehouse.

Duties:

• Controlling equipment and B.Ls for loading product out of warehouse
• Organizing shipping instructions
• Entering grain receipts of incoming product
• Processing daily shipment records and filing of shipment records
• Data entry - fax and enter contracts
• Organizing food safety activities/ongoing
• Updating and provide training for the food safety program
• Perform safety inspections, risk assessments and run the safety program
• Conduct occurrence investigations
• Answer & transfer phone calls
• Preparing outgoing mail
• Perform required lab tests
• Performing any other related duties as required

• Ability to multi-task with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Punctual, meticulous and reliable
