In addition to its value-added processing business, AGT Foods is a trusted handler and transloader of bulk commodities, including pulses, grains, and oilseeds. We operate nine rail-served facilities located directly on our shortline railway network, which runs through vital Saskatchewan growing regions and provides convenient transport and delivery for our bulk products. Our railway network connects to major national carriers and port facilities in Vancouver, Thunder Bay and Montreal, giving AGT Foods coast-to-coast coverage for shipping our products.

AGT Foods offers consolidation, cleaning and transloading at our Delisle Mega Cleaning Facility, located southwest of the Saskatoon CN Rail junction. The facility has the ability to stage and receive full unit trains, take in and clean over 1,000 mt of grain per hour, and reload it directly into railcars, readying it for market without leaving the rail line. These advanced loading and cleaning options allow the company to purchase farm dressed grain from anywhere in Central and West Central Saskatchewan and the Regina Plains area and load it into grain cars at one of our rail-served facilities, which are then then picked up and delivered to the Delisle facility for processing through the cleaner. With the ability to clean approximately ten fully-loaded unit cars per hour, the speed of the Delisle cleaning facility is currently unparalleled by any other major shipper.

Internationally, AGT Foods trades bulk commodities through its sales offices in the U.K., the Netherlands, India and China. We offer a full range of bulk products, including pulses, grains, oilseeds and more.

AGT Foods’ bulk handling operations are connected through the Mobil Group, AGT’s rail division that provides grain transfer and processing services and operates AGT’s two railroads in Saskatchewan.

The Mobil Group operates Big Sky Rail, a 250mi track located southwest of Saskatoon, SK, and the Last Mountain Railway, an 85mi track running between Regina and Davidson, SK. The company also operates the MobilEx Terminal in Thunder Bay, Ontario, our loop track port facility capable of receiving unit trains and loading full Panamax vessels quickly and efficiently.
